🏖️ Jersey History: On August 10, 1910, the Wright Brothers came to Monmouth County to stage “America’s Greatest Aviation Meet.” It was designed to be a grand exhibition of manned heavier-than-air flight.

Friday’s Only in Monmouth: The scoreboard at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport. Three buildings have carried the name Monmouth Park in the last 139 years. The racetrack has been shut down and moved several times, but first opened on July 30, 1870.
