🏖️ Monmouth History: In August, 1904, William James "Count" Basie was born in Red Bank. A pianist, he played vaudeville before eventually forming his own big band and helping define the era of swing with hits like One O'Clock Jump.

We’re replacing our daily Poll with Trivia, continuing our super-popular Only in Monmouth picture game, and introducing a new word puzzle called WORD CURRENT. On Friday, we’ll introduce Born This Way, Twin Lights, and Which Exit? We’re still deciding which will run when, so let us know what you think and which you like best!
