Good Morning, Monmouth County! ☀️
🏖️ Monmouth History: The county’s history keepers held their first meeting on Oct. 12, 1898, when the Monmouth County Historical Association began under its first president, Caroline Gallup Reed. The organization later opened its Freehold headquarters in 1931 and assembled collections ranging from Lenape artifacts to oral histories.
Monday Motivation: “You pray for rain, you gotta deal with the mud, too. That’s a part of it. I’d be more frightened by not using whatever abilities I’ve been given. I’d be more frightened by procrastination and laziness.” —Denzel Washington
