Good Morning, Monmouth County! ☀️

🏖️ Monmouth History: Before it became a quiet stretch of Raritan Bay, Aberdeen’s Cliffwood Beach was a bustling 1920s resort with a mile-long boardwalk, casino, carousel, arcade, and waterfront restaurant. Its enormous saltwater swimming pool attracted Olympic champions, including Johnny Weissmuller, who later became famous for playing Tarzan. The boardwalk was destroyed by Hurricane Donna in 1960.

Thursday Thankfulness: Not every good day needs to be extraordinary. Sometimes a good cup of coffee, a conversation with someone you love, or a stolen moment of a little sunshine is more than enough.
