Red Bank: Officially voted to outright ban new data center developments to protect its local power grid and water supply.
Neptune Township: Enacted a strict ordinance adding data centers to its prohibited municipal land-use list alongside ICE detention facilities.
Asbury Park and Howell Township: Joined the ban movement, creating a heavily restricted corridor along the Jersey Shore where Big Tech cannot easily force new infrastructure.
