🏖️ Monmouth History: On Oct. 7, 1863, the cornerstone of All Saints’ Memorial Church in Navesink was laid. Richard Upjohn, architect of Manhattan’s Trinity Church, and his son Richard M. Upjohn designed the Gothic Revival church, built with local peanut stone.

Yesterday’s Only in Monmouth: The now-closed Salt Creek Grille in Rumson. Oh, how we miss the chocolate soufflé and their amazing pork chops! But, we did find a not-that-hard recipe to tackle on a rainy weekend.
